Greystones Ireland

Bio: My name is Aisling Lyons, stay at home mother of three. My background is childcare, having worked as a nanny ,nursery nurse, creche manager and owner over a 20 year period. I closed the creche when baby number three was imminent as I really wanted to focus on motherhood. I am passionate about children being given the very best opportunities to allow them to grow up to be happy and confident. I originally set up this blog to write tips on parenting young children. I discovered I love writing, and my blog has developed in to being as much about observations on family life as offering tips on behaviour management. I write for a couple of sites and am an occasional radio pundit to boot! 🙂

Just read your article on having a miscarriage. I have a 16 year old,13 and 10 year old. I had 2 miscarriages between each pregnancy and hinesy believe there is a lack of understanding for both mother and father. I was told I couldn’t carry a girl!!! (My youngest is a girl!) this was by family members.

Thanks for talking about it. I would be happy too if you need any more information. :-)))
